Locally sourced and distilled Lemon Myrtle, with its intense fragrance, gives this soap a refreshing lemony top-note, a scent which is noted for lifting spirits, energy and ‘zest’. Lemon Myrtle essential oil also holds antibacterial and antifungal properties, which adds to its deep cleaning ability. Lavender is rightly associated with relaxation and a heavenly ability to calm the spirit. In this contemporary take on an old-fashion favourite we combine these essential oils with natural clays for their beauty and soothing properties and a dash of flower buds for scent and mild exfoliation.

All bars weigh approximately 150grms at the time of cutting. While soap is actually safe to use after 48 hours, to ensure the product is fit for purpose it must be cured for a minimum of 4 weeks. During this time the soap hardens as the ‘water’ content (in
our case replaced 100% with goat’s milk) reduces, loosing mass in the process. This process ensures the soap last longer. If you wish to add longevity to your soap bar there are few things you can do:
- Let is cure for an additional number of weeks (the scent will fade over this time but return when the soap is wet and being used)
- Between use keep your bar is a well-drained dry position, definitely away from steam and running water
- Use a soap dish that helps aerate your soap
- Ensure your soap dries out between use (this may mean alternating between bars)
